ICT in Language Learning

This is my reflection journal in TLL courses..

Nowadays, teaching and learning activities closely related to ICT. According to Graham Davies which states that since over fifty years ago ICT has been develop and affect to the new way of learning and teaching activities in language learning. Recently, so many schools had complete facilities for learning and teaching activities with some media, for example ICT. As well as the school where I did the school experience, this school also has media technologies. This school has good facilities to facilitate the teacher and the students to have a better learning and teaching process in school. Seeing those technologies, I wonder if my master teacher had used this technology in his teaching. Read more

Why Teacher?

This is just my opinion of becoming a teacher. So watch what I’m going to say this time.

Well, here I go…

Have you ever thought? Before you finally decide to become a teacher, consider your reasons for wanting to take this step. We’re going to teach children and teenagers, or probably teach people who are older than us. Educating those kinds of people is a challenge, and if you are going to take it on you will become part of their world, which has both advantages and disadvantages.

One of the disadvantages of teaching is the low pay rate, especially in public schools, although there are some situations which pay better, such as tutoring or working in a wealthy private school. Read more
